By now you might have heard of VeriChip, the company that wants to tag everyone including babies, the ill, the dead, and soldiers. If they had their way, it would probably be everyone. Well, hackers have already proven that they can clone the data from a chip similar to VeriChip’s implantable RFID chip. MAKE shows you how to do it for yourself. [via Engadget]

Using Your EV-DO Phone For Internet Access For Your Computer
If you have a smart phone or PDA with a cellular data plan, you can use that Internet access to connect your laptop or desktop computer. Depending on your phone, you can either use an USB cable or the Bluetooth feature (not all phones have it). If you are using Bluetooth, you may need a Bluetooth USB “stick” for your computer.
