New Google Mail Features

Google Mail, aka GMail, has a number of new features. One that I discovered quite by accident is the ability to view Excel spreadsheet attachments automatically in Google Spreadsheets. Just click on the in-email link and a new browser window or tab will pop up with displaying the spreadsheet. This does away with the need to have Microsoft Excel, which has to be purchased with Microsoft Office when geting a new computer.

GMail also now allows account holders to send out 50 invites, no matter how many you’ve used up previously. In a move to increase their presence, Google also recently released a mobile edition of GMail, not to mention Google Maps.
