Recycled paper in the true sense of the word
Xerox Corporation the international office equipment company has come up with a winner for those who are into recycling. Paper that can be re-used, not recycled this paper can actually be wiped clean and then re-used again and again, now that’s what I call green paper!
So how does it work? The paper is used just like conventional paper for printing or writing text. Your document looks as a normal document, yet as soon as the paper has been printed on there is a chemical reaction that gradually erases the ink until the page is completely blank. The process takes around a day from when the original piece of paper was printed on, and then it can be used again and again.
The technology is still in the early stages of development, so it will be some time before we see this product in the shops, but never the less this is quite a novel idea and will if used by enough people and business’s have a direct effect on the amount of paper used and then just thrown away.
There is of course a down side to this, you may find yourself signing a document that will not be there in the morning, tricky situation!!
