Apple Scores A Billion

The success of the iPod has most definitely had an effect for Apple, for not only have they sold just over twenty one million of the little gems, but Apple have seen revenues for the last quarter of seven billion dollars, I write it in words, because it would take up to much space on the page. Not only have Apple had record-breaking revenues, they also reveal record breaking profits of one billion dollars.

Of course this was not all the iPod’s doing. The company also stated that they managed to sell over one and half million computers, two thirds of which were laptops.

With the new innovations like the iPhone, which caused a stir amongst Apple enthusiasts when Steve Jobs told them about the product, as well as Apple TV and The Apple Airport Extreme Router that were also announced last week but seemed to be side lined by the euphoria that followed the iPhone.

I think that we could safely say that Apple are looking at a good 2007. It will be interesting to see how the new products fare amongst the completion over the coming months.
