  2. Browser and Software Exploits.
Maliciously- coded websites will continue to take advantage of web browser and plugin flaws, some of which will use XSS (cross- site scripting) weaknesses. Increase in incidents will grow due in part to the increase in popularity of web2.0 AJAX web applications.

  3. Attacks On/ Via Mobile Devices. Mobile devices such as smartphones are already being attacked, as well as used as platforms for malware vectors.
  4. Exploits via Web-based E-mail.
The US DoD (Dept of Defense) has already declared that, within the organization, web-based e-mail no longer be used. This includes the 4300 troops stationed in Iraq.
