AT&T Has Its Hooks in the iPhone
AT&T is working its charm once again. Not only has it been difficult for some Apple iPhone owners to get service activated, now AT&T is “reminding” owners that the devices can’t be guaranteed to perform if it’s not being used with AT&T service.
Hackers have been hard at work to try and unlock the Apple iPhone. Currently, the device doesn’t work outside the US, and users aren’t content to wait for the official release. Although some hackers have claimed to have already broken through, they admit that there is no phone service, only iPod and WiFi.
AT&T has been reclaiming much of the telephony industry over the last few years. This recent lock on the Apple iPhone is just one more step towards its full domination.
