Trouble for Technorati

Is Technorati on the decline? The blog search engine has dominated the field in the past, but many users are beginning to switch over to Google Blog Search. Some industry experts are suggesting that the death (or at least the acquisition) of the blog search engine is not far in the future.

Technorati is still the best place to find out who is writing about the blogs. The site has always been the place to monitor where you ranked in the blog world.

As times are changing, so is Technorati’s place in the industry. The blog search engine is trying to regain the decreasing traffic to its site, but it may be that the only hope it has is to fall under the umbrella of a rival company.
